We are excited to announce our 25th Annual Pruning Contest is February 20th at Hoot Owl Creek Vineyards.
We will have both a women’s and men’s competition.
This years marks the 2nd Annual Women’s Only Contest!
Vineyard Managers, please encourage your teams to participate and get your applications in early! Applications are due by February 5, 2025.

New this year: We are partnering with La Familia Sana, a non-profit in Cloverdale that supports families and farm workers with health, guidance, mental health, and other needs. They will be at the event during lunch with some staff to speak to the pruners and anyone interested in their services. La Familia Sana will help us to be able to collect more prize money for the participants because their partnership allows us to share their tax-deductible non-profit information. We are hoping for a much bigger pool of prize money this year, last year we brought in $5K. Help us beat that!
DONATE: If you would like to donate funds to the prize money pool, please contact me directly. All prize money goes directly to the pruners! If you need a 501c3 number for your tax deductions, please inform us, and we will send you the information.
DONATE SWAG: If you have swag to donate, please let us know and I will come by and pick it up. We will take anything you would like to promote. Items that the pruners love are things they can use and gift to their families: hats, shirts, sweatshirts, long sleeves, bags, ChapStick, sunglasses.
Registration begins at 8:00am, donuts and coffee provided, the contest begins at 9:00am, Lunch is at 1:00pm.
