CABERNET ACADEMY
May 2018. Brings influential sommeliers and wine buyers to Alexander Valley and provides high quality, focused exposure to our valley and our Cabernet Sauvignon. Increasing our notoriety for Cabernet translates to increased bottle prices and increased grape prices for our winegrowers.

EXPERIENCE ALEXANDER VALLEY
A new event planned for June 23 & 24, 2018. A two-day festival of intimate, exclusive experiences hosted by the wineries, sharing the world-class wines, geographic diversity and wine growing traditions of Alexander Valley. This unique event concept will target and bring a very desirable wine-drinking demographic to Alexander Valley.

MEMBERSHIP SIGNAGE
Alexander Valley Winegrowers provides uniform signage for our winegrowers, directional signage for our wineries, and the maintenance and repair of signs for both wineries and winegrowers.

BROWN BAG GROWER MEET-UPS AFTER IPM MEETINGS
An opportunity for growers to discuss and share wine growing strategies. Meet-ups are held immediately following the Integrated Pest Management meetings, at Hoot Owl Creek hosted by Mark Houser, Board President.

SOCIAL GATHERINGS
Alexander Valley Winegrowers hosts social events to network and meet your Alexander Valley neighbors, including:

Your discount card is included in your welcome packet, along with a list of Alexander Valley Winegrower association members honoring a special discounted rate to our membership on wine purchases.

19TH ANNUAL PRUNING CONTEST
Our annual event which showcases the talented people who work in Alexander Valley’s vineyards, will take place in January 2018. Alexander Valley is the ONLY AVA in Sonoma County to hold its own pruning contest.

MARKETING, SOCIAL MEDIA AND PRESS COVERAGE
With the launch of the new website and other initiatives, Alexander Valley Winegrowers plans to increase our press coverage, social media following, and marketing efforts, to promote Alexander Valley as a world-class wine growing region.
Last year, A VWG partnered with The Somm Journal for our Cabernet Academy event, and had an 8-page feature, a 2-page preview article, and ad space in the popular industry magazine, providing excellent exposure for our valley.
